12-hour Night Shift

Demonstrates knowledge of the nursing process as a standard, incorporating elements of holistic family-centered care through the collection, verification and organization of data about a patient’s health status, planning for care, implementation of the plan and evaluation. Provides direct patient care in the clinical setting under the direction of the Unit Director and Manager, and the Charge Nurse. Performs detailed and accurate assessments of patients and completes documentation in a timely and accurate manner according to hospital policy and regulatory requirements. Works well with other departments, peers, co-workers, and physicians in a teamwork environment. Must orient and remain competent in Behavioral Health Unit, Clinical Decision Unit and either Intensive Care Unit as the second RN or Women’s and Children’s (Couplet Care and Pediatric Psych).

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Two years or greater acute care RN experience to demonstrate ability to accept responsibility as a Float staff/Patient Care Services RN (job specific).

EDUCATION: Graduate of professional school of nursing required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Current Montana License as a Registered Nurse required. BLS and ACLS (within 6 months of hire) certification required. Certification in Med/Surg and/or Geriatric Nursing preferred.
