Join us for a two-day school nursing conference on October 17th and 18th, packed with insightful sessions and professional development opportunities. The conference will begin with a welcome session and light breakfast at 8:30 AM, followed by a series of discussions led by experts in school nursing and public health.
Day 1 includes an in-depth review of the School Nursing Practice Framework by Terri Hinkley, NASN CEO, and a session on data management by Kimberly Stanislo. After a brief break, we will explore community health topics, including Sacred Tobacco and wildfire smoke exposure. The afternoon includes a leadership meeting with MASN President Lisa Flanagan and a special presentation by Make-A-Wish.
Day 2 kicks off with sessions on bleeding control, Medicaid policy, and school nurse-led anxiety screening. Sanofi will host a "Lunch and Learn" on screening for Type 1 diabetes, followed by discussions on public health, behavioral health, and best practices in documentation.
This conference offers an excellent chance to engage with peers, learn from industry leaders, and strengthen your nursing practice.
